Gifts and promo codes

Redeem a promo code, and where gifted tokens show up.

Promo codes are Vybe Tokens the VYBE.ART team hands out, as a code to type in or a QR code to scan. You redeem a code once on your account and its tokens go straight on your balance, to spend on whatever you ask Perlin to make. Some tokens arrive without a code at all, as a gift or a competition prize, and this page covers where those show up too.

Open the redeem page
Go to vybe.art/redeem. You can also reach it from your Plan page: click Redeem a code under your balance.
Type the code
Type it into Your code and click Redeem. Capitals don't matter and neither do the dashes, so k7qm2xpd finds the same code as K7QM-2XPD.
Add the tokens
The code's page says what it gives, such as 500 Vybe Tokens, on us. Click Add 500 Vybe Tokens to my account. When it says Done., the tokens are on your balance and the page tells you what you have now.
Start making
Click Open the studio to spend them, or Play what the community made.

Tokens are only added when you press the button. Opening the page, or a link to it, adds nothing on its own.

Scanning a QR code

A code printed as a QR code opens the same page. Point your phone's camera at it and tap the link that appears. The code's page opens with the code already in, ready for you to add its tokens.

Redeeming without an account

A code needs an account to put the tokens in. If you're signed out, the code's page shows Create an account to claim them and I have an account. Either one brings you straight back to the code's page afterwards, where you add the tokens as above. An account is free.

When a code doesn't work

The page says	What it means
We don't know that code.	It doesn't match a code. Check it against where you found it: letters and digits only. Retype it under Try it again.
You've redeemed this one.	Your account has already claimed it. Each code works once per account, and its tokens are already on your balance.
This code has ended.	Its time to be redeemed is up. A code with an end date shows Redeem by and the date on its page.
This code has been used up.	As many people as it was for have redeemed it already.
This code isn't working right now.	It has been switched off. If you were given it recently, write to us and we'll look into it.

Gifts

Now and then the VYBE.ART team gives tokens to accounts directly. There's nothing to redeem: they go straight on your balance, often with an email saying so. On your Plan page they show in Recent activity as "Gift from VYBE".

Competition prizes

Winning a monthly competition earns its prize in Vybe Tokens, added to the winning account when the winners are picked. In Recent activity it reads "Competition prize" followed by the competition's name. See Competitions.

Where it all shows

Everything you're given has its own line on your Plan page, under Recent activity, with the tokens it added:
