Profiles, follows and favourites
Your public profile, following creators and keeping favourites.
Every VYBE.ART account has a public profile: your name and picture, and everything you've published. Following a creator gathers their new pieces in one place in your account, and favourites keep the pieces you love where you can find them again. Following and favouriting both need an account; looking at profiles doesn't.
Your public profile
Your profile shows:
- your picture and name, as they appear on your pieces
- the month you joined
- how many pieces you've published, how many followers you have, and how many creators you follow
- your published pieces, newest first, loading more as you scroll
Share links you haven't published don't appear on it.
People reach your profile from your picture on a community card, from your name on any of your pieces' pages, and from the credit on a remix of your work. To see it yourself, click Public profile at the top of your account.
Changing your name and picture
Your profile uses the name and picture on your account: your username if you've set one, otherwise your first name.
Open your profile settings
Click Edit profile on your own profile, or open the Profile tab in your account.
Change your name or picture
Edit them in the profile settings. Your cards and pieces show the new name and picture to everyone on their next visit.
Following creators
Find the creator
Open their profile, or one of their pieces.
Click Follow
Follow is on their profile, next to their counts, and on each of their pieces' pages, beside their name. It changes to Following. Click it again to stop following.
See what they publish
Open Following in your account. It lists the creators you follow, with how many pieces each has published, and under Their latest pieces, everything they've published, newest first.
Follower counts are public, but who follows whom isn't shown to anyone. VYBE.ART doesn't send you a message when someone you follow publishes: check Following to see what's new. You can't follow yourself, so your own profile shows Edit profile in place of the button.
Favourites
The heart is on every piece's page and on every card on the community page and the home page, with the number of people who have favourited the piece.
Click the heart
On a piece's page it reads Favourite, and Saved once it's one of yours. Signed out, it takes you to sign in and brings you back.
Find your favourites
Open Favourites in your account. Every piece you've favourited is there, most recently saved first. Click a heart there to remove that piece.
Favourites belong to your account, so they follow you to every browser and device you sign in on. The top of your account also shows how many favourites your own shared pieces have received.
The pieces with the most favourites fill the On Fire 馃敟 row on the community page. See Browsing and searching.
