Getting help

Contact support and report a problem.

When the guides don't have the answer, write to the people who run VYBE.ART. The support page takes questions about the studio, Perlin, your account and Vybe Tokens, reports of pieces that shouldn't be on the site, and ideas. Answers come back by email.

Before you write

A quicker answer may already be here:

  • Troubleshooting covers sound, blank and frozen pieces, errors, uploads, Perlin being unavailable and pieces missing on another device.
  • Frequently asked questions covers ownership, privacy and pricing.
  • Vybe Tokens says what costs tokens, what's free and how many you start with.

Sending a message

  1. Open the support page

Go to Support. It's linked in the site's footer and at the top of these docs.

  2. Say who you are

Fill in Your name and Email: the address the reply goes to. If you're signed in, both are filled in for you; change them if you'd like the answer somewhere else.

  3. Pick what it's about

Under What’s it about?, choose Help with the studio, My account or sign-in, Vybe Tokens, Report a piece, Feedback or an idea or Something else.

  4. Write your message

Say what happened and what you expected, between 10 and 4,000 characters. A link to the piece helps more than anything: in the studio, click Share, then Copy link, and paste it in.

  5. Send it

Click Send message. The form says Message sent. and names the address we'll reply to. Send another message starts a fresh one.

What to include

The more of this you give, the faster we can help:

  • A link to the piece. A share link lets us open exactly what you see.
  • What you did, and what happened. "I asked for X, Perlin's reply said Y."
  • The exact text of any error: the label and message on the stage's error panel, or the message under Perlin's reply.
  • Your device and browser, if the problem is with how a piece plays: a Quest, an Android phone, Safari on a Mac.

You don't need to say which account you're on: when you write while signed in, the message tells us. It also carries the browser you sent it from.

Emailing us

You can write to create@vybe.art directly at any time. The form and the address reach the same people.

Reporting a piece

To report a piece that shouldn't be on VYBE.ART, choose Report a piece and paste its link with what's wrong with it.

If you believe a published piece infringes your rights, email create@vybe.art with a link to the piece and a description of the work it copies, and we'll review it. The terms of service set out what isn't allowed on the site.

Your data

To ask for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it, including a share link you can no longer reach, email create@vybe.art. The privacy policy explains what is kept and why.

Messages sent from the support page reach us as email and aren't kept in the site's database. We use what you send only to answer you.

If the form doesn't send

  • A field is outlined in red. Its message says what to fix, such as "Enter an email address we can reply to." or "Tell us a little more, so we can help."
  • "That's a lot of messages in a short time." Wait an hour and try again, or email create@vybe.art.
  • "We couldn't send that." Try again in a moment, or email create@vybe.art.
  • The form says it isn't set up. Email create@vybe.art instead.
